Autism Spectrum Intervention Program | ASIP

Our Philosophy

The Autism Program at the Wylie Center is committed to providing the highest quality individualized intervention services to make positive and pervasive differences in the lives of children, youth, and families in areas relating to Autistic Spectrum Disorders and to enhance the overall quality of living. We currently serve clients aged 12 months to 21 years of age with varying levels of need.

Our Approach

Our dedicated and passionate team collaborates with parents and caregivers to tailor each child’s programming to their needs. We use a contemporary Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address all domains of learning and function. These skills include but are not limited to:

  • Communication and language development

  • Social Interaction and play skills

  • Motor Skills

  • Pre-academic and academic skills to help prepare for success in schools

  • Executive Functioning

  • Adaptive Living Skills

  • Behavior—reducing tantrum/meltdowns, aggression, self-injurious behavior, and other maladaptive behavior.

We utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, structured learning, and visual communication systems by individualizing each child’s program to meet their specific needs.

In-Home Services

We strive to incorporate our therapeutic services within the child’s natural environment. We look to build on the child’s strengths while helping to minimize areas of delay or deficiencies while helping them adapt to their environment within their home, school, and community.

The same high quality therapeutic services can be provided in the home and community settings. Our staff maintains a 1:1 ratio with each child to facilitate the highest level of learning and intervention.
