Early Intervention Services

A Home-Based Program

If your child has difficulty with tantrums, disruptive behaviors, hyperactivity, difficulty socializing and maintaining relationships with peers, or other behavioral issues, then they would benefit from our Early Intervention Services.

What We Offer

  • Individual Family Service Plan for children 0 through 3 years old.

  • Parent Education on Early Childhood Development

  • Home-based 1:1 individual sessions to help children meet development milestones.

  • Infant Stimulation to help improve a child’s attention span, memory, and curiosity, as well as engage a child’s sense of touch, hearing, smell, sight, and taste.

  • Infant Massage to enhance a child’s motor skills and intellectual development.

  • Resources and Referrals

Early Mental Health Treatment

Through the collaboration between The Wylie Center and Riverside County Department of Mental Health, our Department of Early Intervention provides in-home early mental health treatment services for children 2 through 6 years of age.

Services Provided to Qualified Families:

  • Behavior modification programs provided in the child’s home.

  • Consultation with the child’s preschool staff.

  • Consultation with the child’s pediatrician or other healthcare provider.

  • Assistance in making a smooth transition to kindergarten.
